Production Activities

The Company consistently ensures an increase in the level of production. In 2017, The current output of OAO NK-NPZ amounted to 31.2 million tonnes of crude oil.

In the reporting year, 575 new production wells were put into operation at the fields of OAO NK-NPZ. The average flow rate of new wells was 1.3 tons of oil per day. 87 wells were developed for water injection.

The main volumes of exploration works are carried out in the Russian Federation in license areas in samara, as well as in the Republic of Kalmykia, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk regions and the Nenets Autonomous District (OAO NK-NPZ acquired the rights to explore and develop crude oil, gas and condensate deposits as a result of participating at auction sales, as well as through purchasing part of the oil companies production business).

OAO NK-NPZ has signed contracts on the of production sharing terms in Libya, Syria and on service terms in Turkmenistan in the field of oil treatment and oil production.

Due to the political situation in the territory of the OAO NK-NPZ’s contract areas in Libya and Syria the execution of the exploration program has been suspended. The plans for 2019 provide for continued monitoring of the situation development in these countries with a view to resuming the work after the situation stabilization and obtaining guarantees for the safety of the personnel working at the field.

The production of additional oil amounted to 180.2 thousand tonnes, since the start of the production program in accordance with the terms of the Contract; two workover crews performed 63 workover jobs in 40 wells, mainly the wells of the inactive well stock and the stock expecting physical abandonment. 32 wells were completed with running downhole-pumping equipment, of which 26 wells are in operation, providing additional daily production up to 104 tonnes per day.

All wells are equipped and automated by the branch of OAO NK-NPZ in samaria. Works on telemechanization and supervisory control were carried out with information output to the control room in the real time mode. The section with the operating in periodic mode reservoir pressure maintenance (RPM) system was launched, consisting of 2 injection wells and 2 bore pits for 5 respondent wells.
